The building at 19 Moskovska Street was constructed in 1914 and is a key architectural landmark in the city of Sofia. It was designed by the renowned Bulgarian architects Georgi Fingov, Dimo Nichev, and Nikola Yurukov, originally for the needs of the then Sofia Bank. From the establishment of DSK Bank in 1951 until today, the building has housed the Central Administration of the bank. In 2010, a new section with a different appearance was added, adjacent to the historic part, forming the new DSK Bank building. In this way, the past connects with the future. The impressive figure of the god Mercury – the god of commerce, trade, and communications – can be seen in the historical part of the building and it was created by Marin Vasilev.
